"Amazing place, well welcomed by the charming owner who gave us a tour through the very big and old fashioned castle. It is as beautiful on the outside as on the inside with many rooms filled with antique furniture. An absolute must if you are passing by."

"Wonderful Chateau, the owner and the family are so kind and warmhearted. Our stay there was unforgettable and we are definitely going back again. We had a great time and learned so much about the history of the chateau. Further more the stay itself was very pleasant, calming and truly great fun!"

"We stayed one night on way to Spain. Warm welcome from the owners son. Shown our Yellow room, going through the main impressive front door and up the beautiful staircase and through some rooms that are open to the public with tours. When I asked for our room key, the gentleman said "no need for key". Not too happy with that and we put a chair against the door when we went to bed! I had asked whether a restaurant booking for a local restaurant could be made when I booked the chateau, and this had been done for us. The double bed was not the most comfortable and quite a small double. The mattress was such that we kept meeting in the middle. Pillows were comfortable. Bathroom more than adequate. Breakfast was taken in the family dining room which was gorgeous. Croissant, bread with jams and tea or coffee offered.|A good experience and the chateau worth a visit."

"A fascinating and intimate family home in magnificent surroundings. Its 800 year history comes alive through the absorbing and anecdotal guided tour by the current day occupant and descendant, who presents the estate as his home rather than a museum, giving a candid glimpse of life in a chateau. Would definitely recommend, and also like to thank the owner for their warm welcome."

"For a start this is one of the most historic and beautifully maintained chateaux I have ever stayed in- each room is still in beautiful condition and all offer some very interesting period pieces as well as great views. The owners are what make this place particularly fantastic though. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed like old friends, given a tour of the chateau, had our bags carried and given help with finding somewhere nearby for food and drink. Breakfast the next day was lovely- typical French fare in the family's drawing room with panelling dating back to just before the First World War and views over surrounding woodland. Didn't want to leave, would highly recommend."
